Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Overview:
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your PassCash account. Even if someone knows your password, they cannot access your account without the second verification step.

 

 

Step 1: Access 2FA Security Settings

  1. Open the PassCash app or website.

  2. Tap or click on your Profile (your avatar or name at the top).

  3. Select “Settings”.

  4. Go to “2FA Security”.

 

 

Step 2: Enable Two-Factor Authentication

  • Choose Authenticator App (e.g., Google Authenticator).

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to link your authenticator app to your PassCash account.

 

 

Step 3: Confirm 2FA Setup

  • Open your authenticator app to get the verification code.

  • Enter the code in the PassCash app or website.

  • Click “Confirm” to activate 2FA.

 

Step 4: Backup Codes (Optional but Recommended)

  • PassCash may provide backup codes in case you lose access to your authenticator app.

  • Store these codes safely offline.
