Verifying Your Identity (KYC)

To use all features of PassCash safely and securely, you need to verify your identity. This process is called KYC (Know Your Customer). Verifying your identity helps prevent fraud and keeps your money safe.

Why KYC is Important

• Ensures your account is secure

• Unlocks higher transaction limits

• Required by financial regulations

• Protects you from unauthorized access

Step 1: Access the Verification Section

1. Open the PassCash app or website.

2. Go to “Profile” or “Account Settings”.

3. Select “Verify Identity” or “KYC Verification”.

Step 2: Provide Personal Information

• Full Name (as on your ID)

• Date of Birth

• Residential Address

• Phone Number and Email (already added during signup)

Step 3: Upload Required Documents

PassCash requires both:

1. Valid Government-Issued ID

   • Passport

   • Driver’s License

   • National ID card

2. Proof of Address

   • Utility bill (electricity, water, gas, internet)

   • Bank statement

   • Government-issued letter

Tips for a smooth verification:

• Ensure documents are clear and not expired

• Take photos in good lighting

• Make sure all text is visible

Step 4: Submit Verification Request

• Review your details and uploaded documents

• Click “Submit”

• Verification usually takes a few hours to 1 business day

Step 5: Confirmation

• You will receive a notification when your account is verified

• Once verified, you can:

  • Access full wallet features

  • Increase transaction limits

  • Use all PassCash services securely
