How PassCash Card OTP Approval Works

PassCash virtual cards use an OTP approval system for additional security on certain transactions and online payments.

When making a payment, some merchants may request OTP or 3D Secure verification before the transaction can be completed.

How OTP Approval Works

If a merchant requests OTP verification:

  1. Complete your payment on the merchant website or app
  2. Return to your PassCash dashboard or mobile app
  3. Open the Virtual Card section
  4. Locate the pending OTP or payment approval request
  5. Approve the request to continue the transaction

Once approved, the payment will continue processing with the merchant.

Important Notes

  • Not all merchants require OTP approval
  • OTP requests are time-sensitive and may expire if not approved quickly
  • You must have sufficient funds available on your card before approving the transaction
  • Some merchants may still decline prepaid or virtual cards based on their own policies
  • For security reasons, OTP approvals can only be completed inside the PassCash platform

Apple Pay and Google Pay

Transactions made through Apple Pay or Google Pay may not always require additional OTP approval depending on the merchant and payment type.

Security Protection

The OTP approval system helps protect your card against unauthorized transactions and adds an additional layer of security for online purchases.
