If you are expecting a refund to your PassCash card but have not seen it yet, this is usually due to processing times on the merchant or card network side.
PassCash does not control refund speed once a merchant has initiated the process.
When a refund is issued:
The merchant processes the refund request
The card network (Visa/Mastercard or similar) receives the request
The funds are returned to your card balance
The timing depends entirely on the merchant and their payment processor.
Refunds usually take:
3–10 business days (most common)
Up to 14 business days for some merchants
Up to 30 days in rare or international cases
Some merchants show a refund as “issued” before it is actually sent to the card network.
Even after approval, card networks require time to route funds back to your account.
Refund timelines do not include weekends or public holidays.
Refunds from certain payment types (subscriptions, travel, hotels) often take longer.
Before contacting support, verify:
The merchant has confirmed the refund
The refund is not still pending
The correct card was used for the original transaction
Wait the standard processing time (up to 10 business days)
Check your card transaction history for pending or reversed entries
Contact the merchant to confirm refund issuance
Reach out to support if:
The refund has not arrived after 14 business days
The merchant confirms the refund was issued
You have proof of refund confirmation
Please include:
Refund confirmation receipt or email
Transaction date and amount
Merchant name
Screenshot of your transaction history
PassCash can only investigate refunds after they have been officially processed by the merchant and card network. If the refund has not been initiated by the merchant, we are unable to process it directly.
Refund delays are common in card transactions and are usually caused by merchant and network processing times. In most cases, funds will appear automatically once processing is complete.
